Doxa 1300 Professional

I found Watch Check through a Facebook ad. I have a Doxa 1300 Professional. It was a daily wearer for 18 years. It had been serviced by Doxa in the past, but they no longer have a US service center. Watch Check did a thorough inspection and found two items that needed replaced. They serviced my watch and returned the case and band to like new. They did a superlative service returning the movement to factory specs. The watch was losing 2-5 minutes every 24-48 hours. The power reserve was less than 24 hrs. Since return my watch had only lost 2 seconds in 24hrs. Original factory specs. I highly recommend them to service your watch. The concierge kept my informed every step of the way too.

Rolex Cellini

My father left me his vintage Rolex Cellini when he passed away. It had never been serviced in 20 years. I've cherished the legacy. Now, my daughter is due to deliver in early November. To celebrate the occasion, I wanted to gift her the Cellini. I knew the watch needed service but worried it would take too long to get it back. WatchCheck had the solution! It was easy to send the watch for service. I got regular updates from the service team. When I got worried about the return date, I contacted the concierge rep. She got right on it and passed along my due date concerns. The watch arrived a week ahead of time - fully serviced and looking fabulous. I can't say enough about the quality of workmanship and customer service. Thanks, WatchCheck!

Rolex Datejust

I recently had my wife's vintage stainless and gold ladies Rolex Datejust serviced by WatchCheck, and I could not be more pleased with the entire experience. From start to finish, their professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding. The service was completed in a timely manner, the cost was very reasonable compared to other options I explored, and the quality of the workmanship was exceptional. My wife's Rolex now looks and runs beautifully—like it just came out of the showroom. It's rare to find a company that combines expertise, transparency, and great customer care, but WatchCheck exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, skilled, and fairly priced watch service.

Rolex Sea Dweller

I am very pleased with the job WatchCheck did in recovering my Rolex Sea Dweller. It and I have had a long history, been through a lot, it was in bad shape and hadn't run for several years. I found their pricing to be very reasonable and their assessment of the time peace once they inspected it was reasonable and well considered. I was admittedly nervous about sending my watch off even after researching them. But their communication was very good and that helped settle my nerves. The watch now looks amazing and is running perfectly so far. I actually think it's keeping better time than when it was new and previously serviced. They even set it for my local time and date for when I received it. A little detail but one worth noting. Small details count. I will use them in the future. Thank you

Girard-Perregaux

My Girard-Perregaux came back in pristine shape and is functioning like new. They did a fantastic job on a watch that's pushing 80 years old. I am very pleased with their work, and their service and communication levels were second to none. I also have three Rolex's and a Cartier, and if they ever need service, I'll be sending them to Watch Check for sure. Thanks to everyone at Watch Check. You definitely have a customer for life.

Rolex Submariner

I couldn't be more pleased with WatchCheck. The communication was above and beyond; I was informed during each step of the process and had my questions answered right away. Service was faster than expected. The watch looks beautiful and is keeping time better than it has in years. From start to finish, they exceeded expectations. Highly recommend and will use them again in the future.

Omega Speedmaster

After several years, I decided to have my "old friend," an Omega Speedmaster 321 caliber (ST105.003.65), serviced. My first choice was WatchCheck. I have the watch back home now, and I can tell you I was a little worried about the spare parts since this watch is very old (I bought it 58 years ago) and wasn't working very well. The service took a little longer than expected due to replacement parts, but there was nothing to worry about; these people took care of everything and delivered a watch in perfect condition, like new. I am very happy with their service and their attention to detail. They kept me informed about the progress of the maintenance every step of the way. I highly recommend them and will definitely use their services again in the future.

Omega

At first I was nervous about sending my vintage 56 year old Omega watch across most of the country for servicing. I took the leap of faith and began the process. I have pages and pages of questions posed via the chat feature and email service. Each and every question was answered promptly and with patience by Erin and Brittney. When the news that additional parts were needed beyond the initial estimate, I was a bit surprised, but I understood that I could have stopped the process and gotten a full refund. Of course I did not choose that path. The work done has proven that was a good decision as the watch is running quite well and looks amazing.. Thanks to all who have restored this family heirloom given to me 54 years ago by my sister, who spent her last bit of money while on vacation in Geneva to bring this watch to me. Thank you all.

Frequently asked questions

How can I package and ship my watch?

Shipping Your Watch

As passionate collectors, we value the careful packing and shipping needed to protect your timepiece.

Your kit includes two protective cases. Use the watch roll for watches with a strap or bracelet. Remove the inner pillow, fasten your watch around it as you would on your wrist, then slide it back into the roll and snap it closed. For smaller watches, remove and discard the pillow's outer sleeve before securing your watch.

Use the membrane case for watches without a strap or bracelet, or for loose parts. Open the black latch, place your watch or parts on the protective membrane, then close and lock the case. The membrane will hold everything securely in place during transit.

Schedule a FedEx doorstep pickup using the link sent to your email or by scanning the QR code on the back of the brochure provided. For security, do not leave your package unattended. Alternatively, you may drop it off at any FedEx Authorized Ship Center or FedEx Office Print & Ship Center - avoid FedEx drop boxes and always request a receipt for your records.

Your watch is fully insured throughout its service journey. Coverage levels depend solely on the initial shipping date, unaffected by the arrival day. Please see the schedule below for shipping dates and coverage amounts. For full details, visit our Insurance Policy.

  • Monday - Thursday: Coverage up to $150,000
  • Friday - Saturday & Holidays (and prior day): Coverage up to $35,000

With Full Service, you can rest assured with a two-year warranty starting from your watch's service date. For full details, visit our warranty policy.

For shipping a watch valued at over $150,000 or for inquiries related to shipping, please contact our Concierge team for further assistance.

What services do you offer?

During a , the case and bracelet/clasp of the watch are cleaned carefully and then restored to match its original appearance through a tasteful polish.

All services include an extensive quality control process by our expert team. Full Services also feature a multi-day timekeeping review to make sure your timepiece is functioning properly.

Additionally, we offer such as dent/ding repair, crystal replacement, and more.

How long does a service take?

Modern mechanical watches undergoing a Full Service typically require 8 to 12 weeks, after arrival at service center. Modern quartz watches typically require 5 weeks on average for a Full Service.

Adding a Case Restoration to your Full Service will have negligible impact on timing, as we complete the Case Restoration concurrently while the movement is being serviced.

Vintage watches typically require 10 to 14 weeks, after arrival at service center.

Vintage watches may take longer to service due to worn, modified, or hard to find parts, requiring careful evaluation, sourcing, and restoration beyond a standard overhaul.

A Case Restoration, without an accompanying service, typically takes 4 weeks on average should additional parts not be needed.

Vintage watches may require additional time due to the sourcing of rare genuine components, extended quality control, and the inherent complexity of vintage timepieces.

Please note that these timelines are estimates which could be impacted by a number of factors outside of our control including but not limited to: parts availability, shipping timelines, estimate approval timelines, and other extenuating circumstances.

With that being said, it is always our priority to complete your service within a timely manner while making sure you receive an exceptional result.

How is my watch protected?

What is an estimate?

Estimates are provided for unique watches, those with hard-to-find parts, or requiring complex servicing, priced on a case-by-case basis.

In most cases, we will be able to provide an all-inclusive upfront price for Full Service and Case Restorations. However, there are instances where we need to conduct further evaluation of the specific watch and its requirements before finalizing the price. In such cases, we will provide a two-step service estimate process.

First, we review the information and photos you have provided to determine an initial estimate range. It is our expectation that this initial estimate will reflect the final service price. Make sure to include photos of any additional pieces you are sending in the box. Place these items on a flat surface to ensure all pieces are clearly shown and accounted for.

This initial range, though generally accurate, is not a guarantee of the final service price.

Once you are comfortable with this initial range, it is time for a deposit to secure your services. Typically, this deposit is $200 applied to the cost of your service and is non-refundable in the event that you choose not to proceed with your selected service. If your final estimate differs from the initial estimate significantly, you may be entitled to a full refund. See Terms and Conditions for more information.

We will then send you one of our protective and fully insured shipping kits. Once delivered, the at-home shipping experience will begin. As soon as we receive your watch, our watchmakers will review it thoroughly and will provide a final servicing price. If you choose to proceed, the deposit will be credited towards the cost of your service, the service process will begin, and the watch will be shipped back home in no time.

If you decline the estimate, we will ship the watch back to you on the next shipping business day.

Completion timelines will vary for services requiring estimates, although it is our priority to get your service done as quickly as possible, while delivering the most exceptional result.
